Last week after the Turkey Hill race Spittal, Zban and I headed down to Philly to catch The Dead.
As I drove Pearl, John and Mike sat in the back drinking Leffe's and telling stories.
Almost to the city and then all of a sudden the traffic stops and eventually resumes to a crawl.
At this point John has to go to the bathroom really bad. Too many Leffe's already? After a good thirty minutes of crawling and John eyes floating he has to do something! We had a full 32oz bottle of Gatorade which we wasted and dumped out the window so John could use it to relieve himself. He filled the bottle and then part of another.
The parking lot scene is always fun, and a great place to people watch.
Show time and in the Spectrum we went. It seemed like a free for all, with no one in charge. Good luck finding your seat in a dark arena with dancing hippies who don't even know what town they are in, let alone what section, row or seat they should be in. It's all good, everyone eventually finds a seat or a place to dance.
A great show and a great time. We look forward to the next one...
